Our history

6 4 G Ltd was founded in 2014 by Wendy Robertson, who had built her career in the finance and banking sector. While she excelled on the technical side of numbers and risk, Wendy realised something was missing, a connection to real people, and the chance to make a direct difference to the success of growing businesses.

That’s why she created 6 4 G, to bring the rigour of financial expertise to entrepreneurs and SME’s in a way that felt personal, practical, and impactful. From the very beginning, we’ve been about far more than bookkeeping. We exist to help businesses succeed by:

Protecting cashflow so you can weather challenges and grow with confidence.

Improving forecasting and financial competence so you always know what’s ahead.

Providing security against the risks of late payment and bad debt.

Acting as a full back-office support function when needed, freeing leaders to focus on their vision.

But beyond the spreadsheets and systems, we never forget that business is about people.

it’s a nod to the old rhyme: ‘one for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl, four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told’.

‘We initially approached 6 4 G to investigate and correct some historic misallocations on our ledger; We were so impressed with the accuracy and commitment that we requested 6 4 G to take over all the credit control for our sales ledger.
